Vocabulary List #1: “Raymond’s Run” and “The Dinner Party”

Several of the words listed below are used in the short story “Raymond’s Run” by Toni Cade Bambara or in “The Dinner Party” by Mona Gardner; the rest are related to this week’s focus prefixes.  Please define each word on your own paper using a print or online dictionary.  You will have a quiz on the meanings of these words and the prefixes “sign-” (to mark) and “curr/curs/cours-“ (to run) this week.
